Moving Pictures

In partnership with the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, SBIFF presents Moving Pictures, a free film program for patients, caregivers and survivors. Together, we will provide roughly 200 cancer patients per year an opportunity to watch an uplifting film and bypass cost-prohibitive entertainment expenses of traveling to and from the theatre, purchasing refreshments, and buying the movie ticket itself.

By utilizing the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center’s Wolf Education & Training Center, we will hold a screening every other month, bringing the power of film to reach those suffering or recovering from cancer. We host Q&A’s following the screenings, promoting engaging conversations to help connect this demographic of citizens to a new community that they would otherwise be unable to enjoy.
