Ike White was serving a life sentence for murder when his musical talent reached legendary producer Jerry Goldstein. He believed Ike was the next Jimi Hendrix. In 1974 they cut Changin’ Times, a soul and funk classic, inside the prison. Ike got his freedom, and on the cusp of stardom, he disappeared. In 2014, after months of searching, director Dan Vernon found Ike and flew to California to interview him and hear his incredible story. But two months later, Ike killed himself.
